UNC

Talk about blowouts. Monday nights championship game between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Michigan State Spartans was a blowout. The Spartans were beat at the start of the first tip. Less than five minuates into the game they were down by double digits and North Caronlina never looked back. Michigan State was down by the most points in history at the half of the championship game and North Carolina scored more points than any other team at the half. Michigan State was outrebounded and outplayed, turning the ball over countless times. During the entire tournament Michigan State was prided on their amazing defense, so what happened?
Panic. Michigan State was so nervous about playing in the National Championship game that they made simple mistakes that they had not commited all year. After all this panic there was no room for mistakes. The University of North Carolina took advantage of every turnover and every missed shot. Michigan States big men were no mach for North Carolina's and Michigan States gaurds played poor. Here are some pictures from the game:http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/gallery?Site=C4&Date=20090406&Category=SPORTS07&ArtNo=904060807&Ref=PH&Profile=1048
So where does State and UNC go from here. The University of North Carolina is losing ten players from this years team, leaving no starters and few backups. They are in for a rough year as they try to sort out their line ups and reastablish themselves on top. Michigan State University will be much better off next year even though they are losing some key players. Suton is gone and we have no big man. I don't think that either of them will have a shot next year. Oklahoma should be the prime team should Blake Griffin choose to reaturn but if not you can pretty much count them out. Who knows? Michigan could be in the mix next year. Duke and Louisville should still be strong. Look for Kansas and Kentucky to be in the mix with good coaches. Memphis will have a transition year. I don't know about you but I'm ready for next season.

AI complains

Alan Iverson Recently said that he would rather retire than contiue to come off the bench. Personally I feel he is immature and a washed up player. He needs to think about the team more than himself. It is pretty funny that no team he has been on has won a championship. Not only did he ruin the chemistry in the locker room but he also has not contributed on the floor. Rip has suffered because of this and the team has no chance at a championship. We have made it to the Eastern Conference Championship every season for the past six years and if we don't make it this year I blame Iverson. The Pistons used to be a team, Allen Iverson does not know how to play on a team. After this year there is alot of good players in the market and we will have money once Allen Iverson and Rasheed Wallace is gone. We need to tough it out this year with a starting lineup with:
1:Rodney Stuckey
2:Rip Hamelton
3:Tayshaun Prince
4:Antonio Mcdyess
5:Rasheed Wallace alternating with Jason Maxell
If we do this than we may have a shot at winning in the post season. The way things are going we may be playing Orlando, a team we have dominated in the past few years. Personally I feel that we can beat any team in the country if we figure this whole AI mess out. We can beat LA and Cleveland is a joke. Boston may pose a challange for us but they are in a bit of a slump with injurys. If we fail to go anywhere this post season than Coach Curry will be on the hot seat for next year. I don't think anyone saw this coming just a few months ago. we were in prime postion to be a force in the leauge and so far we have blown it. So maybe Allen Iverson is finally right for once, he SHOULD retire.

TO

Once again Terrell Owens is looking for a new team. After being released Thursday from the Dallas Cowboys no one is sure where he is going to go. After causing problems in not only Dallas and Phillidepia but also in Tampa he never stays put for long. What are some possible matches for this aging player
1:Detroit. The Lions should make a move to get Owens. After going zero and sixteen they have nothing to lose. They already traded Roy Williams to Dallas and if they were to get Terrell Owens they would have an all-star reciving duo of Owens and Calvin Johnson.
Indy: The Colts should go for TO after losing Marvin Harrison. With one of the top two quarterbacks in the game Manning should be able to handel Owens. He would add the big play reciver that they need after losing Harrison.
New England: The Patriots have already turned around Randy Moss and they could turn around TO. With Tom Brady at quarterback he would learn to be happy. He might not be the star guy but he would have a chance at winning a Super Bowl and if he did he would forget all about not getting as many passes.
Who knows where Owens is going to go? Any team who takes him is taking a risk. Hopefully he will just go somewhere and Shut Up.

COD IS NOT AS GOOD AS EVERY ONE SAYS

Call of Duty 5 is a great game but it is not as good as every says. COD 4 is more fun but the story sucks. Call of Duty 5 multiplayer is fun when you unleash the dogs and the story is better. All in All 5 is better but neither beat NCAA 09 or MADDEN 09.

The Future For Michigan Football

I fear that we are in for another terrible season with the Michigan Wolverines football team. With no quarterback or any one else of note they will suck again. Hiring Rich was a bad move and we will suffer until he is gone.

Why our country is in deep trouble

The reason I feel that our country is in deep trouble is because of the way Barrock Obama is running the country. He is making major mistakes by passing this spending bill and will screw up our country for years to come. He wants to tax the people who work to get their money and give it to the people who do not even try to work. I think it will take a long time for our country to recover from this. Although the media is in love with Obama there is a few people who know what they are talking about. Bill O'Reilly is one of them. Maybe if our country would have listened to Bill we would not be in such a mess. If you want to hear what O'Reilly is saying you can go to http://www.foxnews.com/oreilly/.

What is wrong with Phelps and A-Rod

What has gotten into sports today? Every winter a new baseball star is charged with steroid use, the U.S hero Michael Phelps gets a DOI, loses thousands in beer pong and is seen smoking marijuana. Every day there is something new in the dirty side of sports.

WHY?

They think that because everyone worships them that they can do whatever they want. Baseball brought this on itself by turning the other cheeck untill they got good ratings. Phelps is just a moron enjoying his time off. I don't think that you can blame A-Rod but Phelps needs to slow down his party life.

Why do Detroit sports teams always lose?

Why do Detroit sports teams always lose? we have good teams that play poorly. Perhaps we as the fans set the standards too high. The Red Wings are our only good team. The Pistons, Tigers, and Lions all suck.
1: The Pistons are a team that should be doing really well but instead are just an average NBA team. They fail to win the tight games. When ever they start a game they get up by a lot and let the other team come back and win. I do not agree with the trade for Allen Iverson and it sure has not worked out.
2: The Tigers were supposed to be the best team in baseball last year. They finished last in their division. With all the fire power we had last season we should have been dominate. We were the laughing stock of the MLB. If the Tigers fail to make it into the playoffs next year a change will be nessecary.
3: The Red Wings are amazing. They bring the only glory to Detroit sports. With the Stanley Cup and one of the best records in the NHL this season they are deffintley going to be around for a long time. The shame is that the NHL is the least popular sport.
4: The Detroit Lions are the worst football team I've ever seen. They lost every game last season. They have no chance for a Super Bowl and have no chance for playoffs this upcoming season. After last years winless season they have lost most of the fans that they had.
Detroit sports are going downhill. After the Pistons won the finals they have gone from champs to losers. The starters from that team are scattered around the leauge. The Tigers will not be good anytime soon, they had their chance a few years ago. The Red Wings will win many more games but will still not be recognized like they should be. The Lions will contiue to be terrible. Those seats in the picture above will remain empty for a long time.

DDunn blog

The Super Bowl is this Sunday. My prediction is that the Pittsburg Steelers are going to win 13-7. The Steelers have a much better defense and Ben Roethlisbeger is playing at his best. The Steelers defense will shut down Larry Fitzgarald and Kurt Warner easily while the Steelers offense will only manage to get two field goals and a touchdown. The game will start off with Arizonia winning the toss and choosing to recieve. Kurt Warner will move the ball down the field untill Kurt Warner throws an intercepction to Troy Polamalu who will take it down to about the Steelers 40. Big Ben will get to work and and move them down the field to the twenty yard line. The Cardnials defense will hold and limit Pitt to a short field goal.

The Cardnials will have a big reaturn and have good field position untill their running back fumbles the football and the Steelers get the ball. Ben will launch it deep to Hines Ward who will make a diving catch one the fifteen yard line. Steelers will once again be limited to a field goal and will go into the half leading by six.

The second half will start off with the Steelers moving the ball down the field and down into the red zone. Big Ben will make his first mistake of the night and throw an interception. The Cardnials will send Larry F. Deep and the Steelers will send double coverage with him, leaving Boldin wide open. He will get a big gain down into the Steelers red zone. After two plays and a Boldin touchdown the Cardnials will be up.

Now down the Steelers will bond together and win the game. They will march down the feild and throw a game winning touchdown to Santonio Holmes as time expires.
